Francis Root, (based in Norway), and Sconsacrata, (based in the UK), are both solo black metal acts who have teamed up for this split release, (both artists are also in sludge metal band Beggar).

Across 35 minutes Decrepisy play foul, malignant death metal that’s both old-school and timeless at the same time. The band use doom influences well within their sound, and you can hear a thrash metal edge to some of the less-warped and twisted melodies that are sometimes used. Tombstoner are a death metal band from the US and this is their debut album.
Now here’s one I’ve really been looking forward to. 2020’s Descent to Madness was seriously good, and I’ve only grown to love it even more over time. On Victims of Vile Torture, we once again get a feast of old-school death metal, played with a modern edge that incorporates elements of grind, hardcore, groove, and thrash metal.
