Black Shroud play a black/death metal hybrid that focuses on muscular death metal backed up by blackened aspects that provide an extra layer of grimness and macabre atmosphere. Sarinvomit are from Turkey and Eggs of Gomorrh are from Switzerland. Both play variants of black metal, and have teamed up for this split release.
Sarinvomit and Eggs of Gomorrh are both rooted in black metal, only mutated and ugly versions of it. This split lasts a hideous 31 minutes, and all eight tracks are worth devouring hungrily, despite how disgusting they are. LINGUA IGNOTA is a one woman experimental artist, and this is her latest album.
Aided by a multitude of guests, (including members of The Body and Full of Hell), this is 66 minutes of beauty and brutality. This is an album that fits in no real category other than a loose experimental one. Peppered with noise, avant-garde, industrial, and post-doom/rock influences, this is music that largely belongs to the artist alone and defies easy categorisation.
