Strigoi – Abandon All Faith (Review)

Strigoi - Abandon All FaithThis is the debut album from UK death metal band Strigoi.

Brought to us from the guitarist of Paradise Lost, rising out of the ashes of his Vallenfyre project, he’s joined on Srigoi by members of both bands, (one of which is also an ex-member of Extreme Noise Terror), giving us 44 minutes of engaging and individual death metal. Coilguns – Watchwinders (Review)

Coilguns - WatchwindersCoilguns are a hardcore band from Switzerland and this is their third album.

It doesn’t seem that long ago since 2018’s Millennials burst onto the scene, and I suppose it wasn’t, really. Releases such as Qliphoth, and their various splits demonstrate this amply. Continue reading “Cloud Rat – Pollinator/Do Not Let Me Off the Cliff (Review)”

Shock Narcotic - I Have Seen the Future and It Doesn't WorkThis is the debut album from Shock Narcotic, a grindcore band from the US.

Featuring current and ex-members of bands such as The Dillinger Escape Plan, Child Bite, and The Black Dahlia Murder, this is 19 minutes of nasty grindcore mixed with elements of chaotic hardcore and jagged metal.
