Paths is a one man project aided by a session drummer, (from Panopticon). Together they play Scandinavian-influenced atmospheric black metal. Here we have another death metal supergroup of sorts from the always reliable Transcending Obscurity Records. 2013’s Feast of Iniquity was an enjoyable enough slab of devastation, but one that ultimately, after repeat listens, fell short in many regards.
