This is the second album from US death metallers Visceral Disgorge.
Here we have around 30 minutes of brutal death metal. It’s largely inspired by late 90s/early 00s classic death metal, although this is given a modern makeover and also incorporates some slam elements. Overall, the word for this album is brutal. Omophagia – 646965 (Review)
Omophagia are a death metal band from Switzerland and this is their third album.
2016’s In the Name of Chaos was solid, muscular death metal, the type that took influence from classic death metal and then gave it a modern slant. 646965 can be roughly described the same way, but with the modern side of the equation ramped up some. Continue reading “Omophagia – 646965 (Review)”

Pathology – Reborn to Kill (Review)
Pathology are a US death metal band and this is their tenth album.
Pathology have had a new lineup since 2017’s self titled album, including a guitarist from Condemned and vocalist from Inherit Disease. Brand of Sacrifice – God Hand (Review)
This is the debut album from Canadian death metallers Brand of Sacrifice.
At a lean 26 minutes, God Hand gets in, does its damage, and gets out again. One of the things I like about Brand of Sacrifce, however, is even though their songs tend to be short, the band aren’t afraid to play with the modern death metal formula. This is the third album from Vulvodynia, a death metal band from South Africa.
