Cancer are a UK death metal band and this is their seventh album.

As far as 90s death metal bands go, Cancer are severely underrated. When they returned in 2018 with Shadow Gripped they returned strong, and I actually can’t believe it was so long ago that it came out and that I saw them at that year’s Damnation Festival. Time really does fly. Anyway, Cancer have now returned with a new lineup, (including members of Dissocia, Eternal Storm, and Wormed), and the 46-minute Inverted World. Dissocia – To Lift the Veil (Review)

Dissocia are a Spanish progressive metal band and this is their debut album.

Brought to us by current/ex-members of Aposento, Bizarre, Cancer, Eternal Storm, and Wormed, Dissocia play modern progressive metal, with elements of death metal incorporated into its cinematic whole. Obscene – Agony & Wounds (Review)

This is the third album from US death metal band Obscene.

I enjoyed 2020’s The Inhabitable Dark and 2022’s …From Dead Horizon to Dead Horizon, so knew that Agony & Wounds was destined for my earholes. Obscene vomit forth 42 new minutes of material on this new platter, and if you liked their earlier stuff, then you should very much like this too. Damnation Festival – Leeds University, 03/11/18 (Live Review)

The UK’s Damnation Festival has once again rolled around, and it’s time for all good music fans to get themselves to Leeds and bask in the amazing lineup that the festival gods always seem to be able to pull together. As you can see from the above poster, this year boasted some great talent.

This is the sixth album from Cancer, a UK death metal band.
