This is the fifth album from Scottish death metal band Man Must Die.

Man Must Die play technical death metal and The Pain Behind It All is a 41-minute assault of vicious riffs, sharp technical blows, and blunt force extremity. If you’re a fan of bands such as Decapitated, Dyscarnate, Cattle Decapitation, Beneath the Massacre, and Misery Index, then there’s much here to enjoy for you. Nothingness – Supraliminal (Review)

This is the second album from US death metallers Nothingness.

Featuring the drummer of Ghost Bath, Supraliminal contains 43 minutes of foul, riff-hungry death metal. The promo blurb states that this is for fans of Gorguts, Gojira, Morbid Angel, and Iniquity, and this should give you a good starting point for the band’s tar-thick heaviness. Endorphins Lost – Night People (Review)

Endorphins Lost are from the US and play grindcore. This is their third album.

I enjoyed Endorphins Lost’s 2018 split with Osk, and I enjoyed their 2019 album Seclusions. Their successful run continues, as now, I also enjoy Night People too. 14 tracks, 20 minutes; Night People is succinct and to the point, yet doesn’t lack in finesse or depth. Sonic Poison – Eruption (Review)

This is the debut album from Finnish grindcore band Sonic Poison.

I enjoyed Sonic Poison’s 2016 debut demo Harsh Demonstration, but missed out on the split and EP that the band released after this. It’s now time for their debut album though, and I was determined not to let this one slip by me too. Eruption is an appropriately titled 22-minute assault of vicious deathgrind. I like Exhumed a great deal, and have enjoyed seeing their sound progress, (Death Revenge), then regress, (Horror), over the years, all very enjoyably. Vessel of Iniquity – The Path Unseen (Review)

This is the third album from Vessel of Iniquity, a black metal solo act from the UK.

Lasting a brief, yet scarring, 30 minutes, The Path Unseen is a horrific nightmarescape of industrial black metal, replete with harsh noise and terrifying atmosphere. Having enjoyed/weathered the artist’s 2021 split with Thecodontion, I was looking forward to hearing more and The Path Unseen has not disappointed. Escuela Grind – Memory Theater (Review)

Escuela Grind are a grindcore band from the US and this is their second album.

I love me some grindcore, but what Escuela Grind give us is actually more interesting than just that. This is grindcore by way of huge metallic hardcore groove.
