I very much enjoy Ende’s work. Both 2015’s The Rebirth of I and 2017’s Emën Etan were effective examples of traditionally-delivered raw black metal, played well and with good songs. Here we have around 38 minutes of experimental psychedelic rock. Fusing elements of psychedelia, post-rock, progressive rock, and punk into involved and exploratory songs, this is a compelling release that’s easy to like if you’re a fan of expressive and well-developed progressive rock.
