This is a split between three black metal bands, Precaria from Mexico, Deathspiral of Inherited Suffering from the US, and Dominus Ira from Russia.

This is a split based around a single concept, (the concept of Theion, the divine fire that burns but never consumes), with each band contributing their individual vision of occult black metal to the overarching whole. A lot of time and effort has obviously gone into this release, which is reflected in the lengthy playing time of 68 minutes. Dagger Lust – Siege Bondage Adverse to the Godhead (Review)

Dagger Lust are a black metal/grind/noise band from the US and this is their debut album.

Møl are a post-black metal band from Denmark and this is their debut album.

Glorior Belli – The Apostates (Review)

This is the seventh album from Glorior Belli, a French black metal band, (essentially a one man band with hired help).

Above Aurora play black metal laced with venom and swirling with dark energies. This release contains three songs with a total duration of 17 minutes, and should appeal to those that like their black metal to have a nuanced, mid-paced approach to spreading darkness. This is 45 minutes of creative metal, mixing black metal with doom, post-metal, and progressive influences. The band have produced an epic, exploratory journey across the cosmos, and do this via some expressive and emotive music. Ende – Goétie Funeste (Review)

Ende are a French black metal band and this is their fourth album.

I very much enjoy Ende’s work. Both 2015’s The Rebirth of I and 2017’s Emën Etan were effective examples of traditionally-delivered raw black metal, played well and with good songs. It’s only actually been a year since Emën Etan, but it seems there has been no rest in the Ende camp. Their lack of sleep is to our benefit, however.
