This is the third album from Swedish death metallers Descend.
Descend give us 49 minutes of progressive death metal on The Deviant. I picked this to listen to on a whim, based purely on the artwork, (which, in the promo, didn’t have the band logo and album title on it; I prefer the logo-less version), and I’m amazed at what I had the good luck to stumble upon. Exocrine – Maelstrom (Review)
This is the fourth album from French death metallers Exocrine.
Here we have a 42-minute blast of technical death metal. Modern in style and feel, with various progressive and melodic elements, Maelstrom makes a good impression. A very, very good impression. Ulcerate – Stare into Death and Be Still (Review)
This is the sixth album from New Zealand death metal act Ulcerate.
After 2016’s colossal Shrines of Paralysis, this exceptional band have now returned with a new 58 minutes of imposing material. Shodan – Death, Rule over Us (Review)
This is the second album by Shodan, a death metal band from Poland.
2016’s Protocol of Dying was a very memorable and enjoyable album, one that stood out for its quality and variety. Xenobiotic – Mordrake (Review)
This is the second album from Xenobiotic, an Australian deathcore/death metal band.
