Although principally a solo act, the artist behind Afsky did bring in many session musicians for the creation of this album, (including Myrkur who brings not only her musical skills to the band, but also her always impressive vocals at the end of the last song). Nadir – The Sixth Extinction (Review)
Nadir are a sludge/death metal band from Hungary and this is their sixth album.
The Sixth Extinction features 33 minutes of sludgy death metal. Think of a cross between Crowbar and Bolt Thrower and you’ll not be too far off from where Nadir operate. Dreamarcher are a Norwegian metal band and this is their latest EP.
Dreamarcher’s 2016 self-titled debut album was notable for its atypical approach to emotive heavy music. It was an enjoyable album, and Harding is even more so.
