This is the second album from US death metal band Necrambulant.

Well, it’s been twelve years since Infernal Infectious Necro-Ambulatory Pandemic saw the light of day, so I thought I’d better check out Upheaval of Malignant Necrambulance to see what Necrambulant have been up to since then. Apparently they split up in 2014, only to reform in 2022 with a new lineup, (including vocals now from the bands ex-drummer). So there we are then. It’s been a while since 2019’s Obscuration came out; a devastating EP that left me hungry for more. Alas, there was no more to be had, at least not until now. Pathology – Unholy Descent (Review)

Pathology are a death metal band from the US and this is their twelfth album.

2017’s Pathology, 2019’s Reborn to Kill, and 2021’s The Everlasting Plague all hit like trucks, with Pathology displaying an easy mastery of brutal death metal each time they erupted from the shadows to strike. Vulvodynia – Praenuntius Infiniti (Review)

This is the fourth album from South African death metallers Vulvodynia.

After 2016’s Psychosadistic Design and 2019’s Mob Rules, it’s great to once more be exposed to Vulvodynia’s brand of deathcore-laced brutal slamming death metal. There’s a whopping 57-minutes of violent content on Praenuntius Infiniti. Although I was initially concerned about this, as that length is a bit of a push for this sort of punishing material, it turns out that the band have done their best to make good use of the time. Pathology – Reborn to Kill (Review)

Pathology are a US death metal band and this is their tenth album.

Pathology have had a new lineup since 2017’s self titled album, including a guitarist from Condemned and vocalist from Inherit Disease. Distant – Tyrannotophia (Review)

This is the debut album from Distant, a deathcore band from the Netherlands.
