Gutslit – Amputheatre (Review)

GutslitThis is the second album from Indian death metallers Gutslit.

I have a certain fondness for Gutslit’s 2013 debut album Skewered in the Sewer. This was an extremely enjoyable release that took brutal death metal and injected a Gorerotted-style sense of playful groove and belligerence into it, resulting in a very memorable and effective album that also made it high into my best of 2013 list. Indian death metallers Godless have unleashed a monster of a debut release in Centuries of Decadence. Muscular metal with thrashing groove has rarely sounded so good and this EP has made an indelible mark on the death metal landscape as far as I’m concerned. I can’t wait to hear what they do next.  In the meantime, let’s find out a bit more about the band…

Introduce us to Godless!

We conceptualised the idea of Godless around March 2015. Our aim with Godless is to create music that is powerful and aggressive. It took us a few months to find our sound and direction. Godless – Centuries of Decadence (Review)

GodlessGodless are a Death Metal band from India and this is their début release.

Godless play Death Metal with traditional muscularity mixed with a bit of thrash and groove. It’s well-recorded and has a solid sound overall, making for a good impression.
