Defigurement are described as playing a technical/avant-garde/experimental form of grindcore. Couple this with the fact that the band contain current/ex-members of bands such as Bad Acid Trip, Changeling, Fear Factory, Invidiosus, Malignancy, Success Will Write Apocalypse Across the Sky, and Zillah, and this was one I wanted to check out. Visceral Disgorge - Slithering EviscerationThis is the second album from US death metallers Visceral Disgorge.

Here we have around 30 minutes of brutal death metal. It’s largely inspired by late 90s/early 00s classic death metal, although this is given a modern makeover and also incorporates some slam elements. Overall, the word for this album is brutal.
