Infiltration play 90s-influenced death metal, with a focus on songs and destructive presence.
Boasting a decent mix of punishing grooves and furious blasts, these songs embody a passion and love for classic, traditional death metal that’s hard to deny.
Imagine Bolt Thrower’s rolling war metal mixed with Six Feet Under‘s groove, Napalm Death‘s 90s-era death metal, and Cannibal Corpse‘s relentless beating, and you’ll have a good idea of the type of thing that Infiltration offer.
The songs are well-written and despite the fact that Infiltration have existed for less than a year at this point, they clearly know both what they are doing and what they want to achieve with their style. After an intro track the four songs that make up this EP are all enjoyable exemplars of solid, muscular death metal, and this is an enjoyable way to spend 16 minutes.
Give this a spin and let Infiltration batter and bruise you.
