Infectology are a death metal band from Ecuador. This is their second album.
Infectology play brutal death metal that’s relentless and barbaric. The blast beats and guttural vocals never end, save for the odd bouncier section and one instrumental track, (Inhuman Conception).
The songs are dense and murky, with riff upon riff piled up on top of each other, smothered in blast beats and then vomited over by a truly monstrous singer.
Speaking of their singer – I do especially like his vocals on this release, as they’re very deep and full of raw nastiness. Stopping just the right side of pignoise, the singer has a lot of power in his voice as he gurns, growls and chomps his way through these tracks.
It’s always good to check out the death metal underground to see what’s shaking and stirring, and I think Infectology are doing both.
Have a listen.
